Healthy Weight the Backbone of Life

You may beg to differ but in my opinion, the world community has lost truck of the meaning of health and wellness. The results have been an over weight world community with numerous health issues that we can barely keep the list straight.

WHO defines health as " a state of complete physical, mental and social well - being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."I define health as being in a state of physical, emotional, physiological, mentally and environmentally safe from anything that can cause disease, stress and in ability to perform as expected in the state of nature. And wellness is having the ability to consciously maintain the health status quo and preventing any disruption to health.

Physical and physiological health and well being is paramount to the communities' well being. We are responsible for our actions and choices when it comes to this particular area of health and wellness. For clean and healthy bodies we should encourage healthy diets Click Here!and regular exercise regiment; basically things that are beneficial to our well being.

Most of the wide world in this day and age has lost control of this fact and the result has been an overweight world population. Excess weight is the core and source of most of the chronic illness that we are dealing with in this turn of the century. Think about it - if we took care of the excess weight issues the numbers of people with diabetes, high blood pressure, osteoarthritis, strokes, heart disease would be way down. The health budgets of the world would be minimal; more time, money and energy would be used in research.

We can try and cut down on the weight issues by simply being responsible and accountable to ourselves. In essence love ourselves. Our governments and communities need to re educate the masses on the importance of simple things like healthy diets filled with fiber, fruits and vegetable; less processed foods; simple social values of keeping busy with less time on the couch. Stress the benefits of exercise. Cutting down on excessive lifestyle indulgences like smoking, excessive drinking of alcohol and other practices that eventually lead to health problems.Click Here! Promote the benefits of drinking at least 6 glasses of water a day instead of sodas.

I may begin to sound like a broken record but I strongly believe that most of our problems stem from lack of taking care of the physical and physiological health. Its important to know that when we religiously take care of our physiological being of the body; in return the body will take care of us.
Hey what do you all think? Any comments? Yours truthfully, flora
